About the instructor

Carly Herrero, LAc

I’m a licensed and board certified acupuncturist in private practice in Yarmouth, Maine.

Gua sha is one of the most effective modalities I offer at my clinic, and is a reason many patients seek me out for help with their pain.

I have taught continuing education workshops on gua sha, cupping, Eastern medicine, and ethics since 2014 for massage therapists and acupuncturists. I’m an NCCAOM certified provider and continue to teach online and in person classes.

I have also taught classes on business and Eastern bodywork for students at East West College of the Healing Arts, and was a teaching assistant at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. My full bio is here.
